A group of friends from a rural region of Kangwon Province go to Seoul after graduation in the hopes of bettering their lives. However, they find the big city to be a much less friendly place than they hoped and a hard place to live. Two of the friends, Tae-shik and Jeong-yi live near each other and often meet and Tae-shik begins to fall in love with Jeong-yi. However, he refuses to acknowledge his feelings because their mutal friend, Se-beom, also loves Jeong-yi and Tae-shik will do nothing to betray that friendship. The director of this melodrama with its plot right out of the 70's is former actor Kim Woo-seok. Mr. Kim began his acting career in the 70's and worked through the early nineties appearing in films like Money Money Money, Eros and Prositute 5 but never in a starring role. Taking the parts of the leads in his directorial debut are Hong Su-hyeon (Bungee Jumping On Their Own), Jae Hee (3 Iron, Ghosts In Love), Park No-shik (Memories Of Murder, He Was Cool) and Seong Ji-ru (Public Enemy, H, A Good Lawyer's Wife). A 1'n 1 Entertainment film.
