Plum: I have to agree, those scenes are quite favorites among Korean series.
Plus the mcdo sign..I think that's their cutie version of saying saranghae to their boyfriend/girlfriend.

HI all!
ilaria, I was just going to add that Amusement Park scene thingie. Almost every K-novela I've seen has a scene like that. It must be that Koreans enjoy going to parks.

I've also found that in many k-dramas the male character is a hotel owner or has smt to do with a hotel! This is really curious..I wonder why!!^^

I think we can add elevator scenes whenever applicable to the setting.

yeah most rich guys in k dramas are hoteliers or somehow involved in real estate....can't they think of another business to venture to? lol

Wahahhahah, exactly what I thought Pola, but I have to admit that the Hotel business is really fascinating and u get to know many people from different country..maybe it's for this reason

I notice this a lot: washing clothes with their feet. LoL, I always find these scenes so funny.
and drinking scenes--girl gets drunk and guy piggyback rides her back home.
airport scenes are fundamental! usually, in the beginning or the end...or both! and koreans always seem to be going to Japan in many dramas. I guess that's true to life as well? I wouldn't know. and the ex-girlfriend always seems to go study abroad in the US or Europe after her ex-boyfriend (the leading man) falls in love with the leading lady. I've noticed that several times. AND, there's always a time lapse (one year later, 2 years later, 3 years later, a few years later), like 2-3 episodes before the show ends.
I also notice that it is always the females that are poor and frugal and the guy is usually wealthy and spoiled. It is usually the leading ladies who fall in love with the leading man first (it seems) and the guy doesn't know and by the time he DOES know and falls in love with her, it's too late and he goes through a lot of hardships to get her back.
There's usually some guy who rides a motorcycle. Usually the lead or supporting actor.
then again, I am just basing it on the dramas I've seen and I've mainly seen light-hearted comedies and a few dramas. I can't stand tearjerkers.

Eh... yes...
and the lead actor is the "bad guy" with traumatic experience or sth... in fact - he is very nice and warm boy who fall in love with girl which ignore him xP

I noticed many dramas with the "ice skating"scene!! And I also wondered if korean people go often to skate 'cos they're very good at it!!"Full House","Save the last dance for me","Snow White",etc!
