Best and Worst korean series you've watched...just name a few...note: I'm only speaking for myself. Best: 1 delightful girl chun hyang now words can express how much I lvoe this series 2. save the last dance for me I like the story and I also fell in love with eugene and ji sung. 3. wondeful life reminds me of "delightful girl chun hyang" on osme parts but the storey was great. it give alot of values. 3. endless love 1 - autumn in my heart I've read that this series was one of the wors korean series but I think it's great series. quite tragic though 4. full house I really had a great laugh watching this. worst 1. stairway to heaven pointless story. Kwon sang woo's acting was great though 2. snow white sweet love I don't like the ending 3. my name is kim sam soon I got bored at the latter part. it should have a better ending. |

Yaah,Rayomond,u didn't like Samsoon?  pity!I loved it!!Btw,my favourites are:
1.of course DGCH^^ -I so love this drama: the actors, the plot..EVERYTHING 2.MY GIRL -same producers of DGCH so the story's very funny!And I love Lee Junki,so it's a must for me^^ 3.SAMSOON-I found it very realistic and..I love sweets,eheh 4.GOONG- I really love the plot and a part from eps 20/22,it's a really funny and captivating drama Worst: I have to say that I'm new in k-dramas,so I haven't watched many 1.1% of anything -good start but then it becomes REALLY draggy and for 26 episodes..geez.. ..mmh..I'm thinking hard but that's the only bad k-drama that comes to my mind!!I have to watch more!!

I like kim sam soon at the start. hyun bin is very looking but I really got bored at the end. maybe because the tv station who aired this sries like other k dramas did not do any justice in deleting importan scenes. | ||

not really censored. most korean series are a bit reserved or demure. they just delete some scenes to save time. here in the philpiines commercials take most of the airing time of a particular series. | ||

my most fave are:
delightful girl chun hyang winter sonata gokusen ijuksa ( love that could kill ) hello god love of the condor heroes princess hours ( though i have yet to finish it i think its gonna be one of my faves ) my worst series are : sad sonata kimsamsoon ( - i know many find this series superb, the storyline is unique but i really find some parts dragging and unrealistic esp when samsoon was being pursued by 3 men, when she was supposed to be unattractive and loud , and hyun bin choosing samsoon over han nah when the latter was the one who sacrificed and was forced to stay away by his mom. ) phoenix firebird |

As for the Best K series:
1. Sassy Girl, Choon Hyang - it worth watching over, over & over again. 2. Winter Sonata - the classic kdrama: first love & pure love 3. Goong (Princess Hours)-although Goong literally means Palace...anyways I like the idea of dealing with the lives of royalties...and it has the SGCH effect in it...I like the young couple, they're sooo cute!!! 4. Wonderful Life - I am touched by their daughter Shin Bi, she's sooo adorable. 5. Wedding - I like the idea of pairing Jang Nara & Ryu Shi Won...They have a nice duet in this series... shocks! 6. Deu Jang Geum or Jewel In the Palace - the story is just so inspiring. And as for the worst... 1. Kim Sam Soon - I have to agree with Lualm & Raymond... I find it boring...sorry sassykai, but i think the actors were great anyway heheheh .
2. Lovers In Paris- I really, really liked it from the start, but i was disappointed with the ending, it's weird and I'm not really satisfied. 
3. Only You - Although I'm a HCY fan... I just don't like the story. It seems to me that the character of HCY is the only one having all sorts of difficulties. It has a nice ending though...I think my reason is much more personal!!! hahahah  just kidding.
to tell you the truth, I really dislike kdramas with sad or weird ending...  But it's a relief that kdramas are starting to evolve to a new level...light dramas with happy endings. Oh well...

And the Wedding, yeah both JN & RSW are cute...they both sing well. I like their duet in that series. Have you tried watching Hana Yori Dango, I think the role of Doumyoji is played by Matsumoto Jun...(he's the Japanese version of Dao Ming Si-Meteor Garden) |

even if I fancy other actors jae Hee is still on my numberl ist just like you. off topic: I love the effects and the fighting scenes in the "love of the condor heroes" but I find the leading man really annoying. is this girl also the lead actress on "eternal love"? they both look the same. |

I've also watched Hanyori dango,but I still prefer Meteor Garden,I'm a Vic fan,eheh!!^^ I also loved taiwanese drama Price Frog,have u watched it?It's so funny and the lead actor is so cute >.<

Well to tell you frankly, my first asian movie obsession is Jet Lee's Action movie.
Ilaria, i totally agree with you, that Meteor Garden is better than Hana Yori Dango. Wait, have you watched this taiwanese seies called "Dou You" or The Outsiders? It has a nice story & character as well but the ending is kinda tragic....

I also love Jet Lee:Hero is one of my fav movie!!!And I also love The House of Flying Daggers!!Wu Xia movies are just so amazing!!I love too fighting scenes!!^^ The Outsuiders?Is the drama with singer Alan Kuo?I've searched it on d-addicts,but there were no subs!I usually don't dl dramas without subs and I have to say that there are very few tw series subbed!!But I so loved Mars,the best tw drama for me,Prince Frog and It started with a Kiss!!Have u guys watched them?Now I'm dl Only U and The great Inheritance for k-dramas and The magicians of love for tw drama(same cast and staff as Prince frog-it's very funny and romantic^^) | ||

i havent seen hana yori dango yet though i would really like to watch it since matsumoto jun is also my fave. i love of the condor heroes mainly because this is based from a classic novel that is very popular among the chinese. | ||

Yeah, once in my life I was really obsessed with Jet Lee...I find the Kiss of the Dragon a very good film...I just love the way he executes his martial arts move, it's sooo graceful.
Ilaria: regarding the Outsiders, i don't know about the english names of the casts...But I think the name of the male lead star is Guo Pin Chao...heheheh
I've also seen some of the taiwanese series you enumerated, but i haven't really watched the whole story. Lualm: I agree, I also like the Love of the Condor Heroes. Crystal Liu is just beautiful. heheheh

the best k-series i have watched are...
1. sassy girl chun hyang >> this is the best ever... i love the story and the actors and actresses... nyahaha... "even f this life is through... even if the next life begins... forever... forever... you and me... i'll always love you..." 2. my name is kim sam soon >> i like the theme of the story... this is no ordinary ugly duckling story... sam soon remained to be the sam soon she was before... and i think the series really gave the real idea of true love... accepting the one you love as she/he is... nyahaha...and hyun bin's cute... (in some angles...)^-^ "dance like no one's watching... sing like no one's listening... work as if you don't need it... love like you're never been hurt before..." 3. save the last dance for me >> i really like the story... it really made me cry a lot... i know how difficult was sandy's life... hmm... eugene and ji sung did have a good chemistry... ^-^ "it's you whom i save my last dance for..." 4. sweet 18 >> i really like hjy and ldg's love team...!!! ^-^ 5. the best:
-Sassy Girl Chun Hyang-no brainer -All About Eve-my top pick for 5 years since it created a perfect man and a perfect villain which I won't ever forget, it was toppled by SGCH -My Girl-I couldn't believe that this is even in my list lol since I find it mediocre at first, but I learned to love it..and I'm biased because it has the same set of writers and a director as SGCH, Jae Hee and HCY also appears in it lol -Endless Love 1 (Autumn In My Heart)-the only series to make me cry -Save the Last Dance For Me-I love the theme song despite the old plot (having amnesia) Runner ups: I'm Sorry I Love You-heartwearming, sappy series, but good acting and good plot, very different Love Letter-the ending is crappy, but the actors are good and I like the way they tackled a controversial issue (the priest falling in love with a woman), plus it has one of the best soundtracks Worst: -Loving You-bleh! acting is also bleh! everything is just b.o.r.i.n.g -My Name is Kim Sam Soon-okay throw tomatoes at me for this, it's a funny series, but I feel that the plot isn't put together that well, and in the middle to end part, the lead is figuring out how to lay sam soon down....I'm not impressed... -Lovers in Paris-the lead actress tried so hard to be cute, but she failed and the ending was wtf????!!!! ---- about Goong/Palace/Princess Hours: I think it shouldn't have been extended because the scenes of the elders are getting old for a while and the progression of the love story is quite slow lol this is just my opinion, I hope noone really gets offended, different people just have different tastes... |

BEST LIST:
1. DGCH - Do I even need to defend this choice? Hee. This series makes you feel ALL kinds of emotions. It's a roller coaster ride with impecable acting from its male lead.
2. All About Eve - This series got me hooked on K-drama. JDG's character is such a prince. He and CR's character have a sweet love story. 3. Sweet 18 - It's very light and funny... It also helps that LDG and HJH are a couple in real life - adds butterflies to ones stomach.
4. Stairway to Heaven - This is the only serious drama that I like. I think the acting is very believable and I love how they are so devoted to one another until the very end. Of course, KSW is very hot.
I don't really have a worst list. The other K-dramas I've seen aren't best for me but they weren't so bad either. |

Delightful Girl Chun Hyang is the best of all Korean dramas that I've seen. I am speaking from my personal experience only. It is refreshing, funny, and full of fun. Unlike other K dramas which is draggy, and at times, repeats itself, DGCH is not like that. Seeing Jae Hee for the very first time and Han Chae Young after Engless Love , I was sort of doubting at the beginning, but as the story progresses, I fell in love with them (especially Jae Hee). Before DGCH, I was in love with Jerry Yan but Jae Hee came into my heart and now, almost a year later, I am still loving him, and Jerry too. But my heart cries for JH most of the time. I will always love DGCH although I've seen so many other dramas, none has came close to that *special feeling*. You all know what I am talking about. Each day we may move on with life, but there is no doubt that once in a while, my heart will come back searching for that special feeling. | ||
