Drama discussionHi!I thought such topic is missing.. here we can discuss all the drama we watched, watching.. and everykind of them.. korean, Japanese, Chinese...etc.. Well, I told you one big news last night which is my brother is letting me watch My Girl.. OK, here is another big news.. I got ADSL *I'm sure you can see me jumping  *
SO.. I can download some drama(s) I'm interested in.. The first one I started was Hana Yori Dango.. I'm a fan of the manga.. So, I'm getting this.. Only episode 7 is left for me to d/l.. I'm getting kimi wa petto.. because after seeing Jun in HYD I wondered how it was possible for him to pull Momo rule 
I got episode 1, 9, and 10 so far the other one I'm interested in but it's taking a long time.. clubbox giving me headache but anyway.. Bright girl success I watched half of the first ep. so far.. I'm downloading Gokusen episode 1 to check it out .. and I'll be sure not to miss GTO. lol look at that.. like inviting a starving person to a resturant
So, yeah lets talk about drama.. I'll be posting my impressions and thoughts of the drama I watch.. and I'll be glad to hear your opinions and suggestions

hi L4E...well ive watched gokusen 1 and i must say it was refreshing to see a new trend ...not the usual romantic type of series...im about to get the sequel this week and im already excited with it....
aside from delightful girl chun hyang...the series i have taken so much interest lately is goong / princess hours...it left me with an aftershock so strong that it captured my heart, my imagination . the story is simple yet interesting esp the struggle between the 2 princes, and the suppressed love of the ice cold prince for his lil bride....the song " perhaps love " has an lss, makes you wanna walk in the clouds....and not to mention the hot / passionate kissing scenes that takes your breath away....over and over again....the lead actor joo ji hoon gave a noteworthy performance...indeed he was very much like of a prince all thru out, the posture, the walk, the stance, the way he talks, yoon eun hye on the other hand ( the lead actress ) is an endearing and charming actress...she's a natural in comedy, she may not be as gorgeous as song hye gyo but her beauty is the kind that slowly blooms before our eyes....id dare say that in my books...goong is now in the same league with dgch. |

First, My Girl
I already knew that Mong-Ryong parents are in it.. I also know that the real granddaughter is chun-hyang.. thats all I knew before starting to watch it. But I didn't expect the Mong-Ryong father role and I was first surprised to hear "Stairways to Heaven", the song I don't know the drama yet.. but this song is so special for me.. and to double the surprise seeing Mong-Ryong father like that and then... he is singing!!! ..................... I surrender
Epsiode 2 "Kachima!" at the aireport absolutely took me off guard.. I was about to fall from my chair laughing 
I like the lead girl.. so smart and how she was always able to pull her self out of every problem.. I like the lead guy, too. * didn't get a hold of the characters names yet * I like how his masks are falling one after another, too. Begging for help, crying about his grandpa, sleeping, and at the end of Ep.3 hugged by his ex.. awwww !! I can't wait to see more I like the other guy, the other rich playboy.. well, at first I thought his face is *girly* ehemm.. but I kinda used to it.. he is cool His Japanees and English is quite good! |

going around .. sumire-chan.. sumire-chan.. ne ne! getting excited over the smallest thing and .. alot.. he is so cute no wonder the people who watched this first had huge doubts that he can pull Tsukasa role!
But yes.. Momo is not stupid as Tsukasa.. and that gives him the mature look.. ... only when he is serious

hi...i would also like to recommend " hello God "....this is a very touching drama series...its about a mental retardate being used in an experiment....after the successful operation he became a normal person but a lot of twists and turns happen that will make the story all the more interesting. kim ok vin ( the lead actress ) is one of the loveliest k female stars ive ever seen... and newcomer yoo gun ( the lead actor ) is superb for a neophyte....highly recommended. | ||

*____* that kiss..omo..I was so happy watching it..finally a Hollywood kiss in a korean drama!!!eheh!!I love so much Goong too!!The plot is really well organized and the setting is amazing!!Among my favourite dramas there is also taiwanese Mars,maybe u guys know the manga!The actors are really good and the story is a mix of passionate love,personal drama and ambition..I so loved this drama!!And also,Vic Chou is always worth to be seen !I also recommend Prince who turns into Frog!!It's really really funny and heart wretching^^ I don't like many japanese drama..they're often full of too many good sentiments and moralism..sometimes I find this annoying^^; But I really enjoyed Forbidden Love with Takizawa Hideaki (a good actor and handsome boy),the story of a prohibited love between a student (Takky) and his teacher!Even if the plot might sound banal,this drama is really interesting!!^^

I love too many series, so I'm just going to list a couple of my top dramas. ^^
Japanese Go! This movie wasn't really my type of story, but major props to it. It was really good. Ichi Rittoru no Namida*** Most definitely watch this. It's so sad. ;_; Orange Days*** I really liked a lot of the dialogue in this. Touching. And beautiful music. Waterboys*** HILARIOUS. Korean ...ing One word to describe this movie: indie. Really good. A Millionaire's First Love A really great movie with Hyun Bin. *drool* I'm Sorry, I Love You*** It's addicting. And you can't help but cry. >.> My Girl Made by the same people who made Delightful Girl Choon Hyang. Really charming drama. My Sassy Girl*** If you have not seen this movie, shame on you! My Name is Kim Sam Soon*** Wow, a hilarious drama led by a great couple. The Nine-Tailed Fox It took me a while to get into... but wow. This was a good series. I wish that I didn't read the spoiler for it. >.> Taiwanese It Started With a Kiss Only for those who like romance to the extreme. =O Hehe. Prince Who Turns Into Frog A really cute, adorable series. |

I'm downloading "Save the Last dance For me" Right now.. I'm opessed with My Girl!! I love it!! I'm at episode 8 now.. hopefully I'll get 9 tonight or I won't be able to sleep!! I love Ju Yoo Rin! she is great ... Whaaa I can't wait for next episode after the last line! "Seol Gong Chan... you are insane" oh yeah.. and whenever Jeong Woo cries... I cry with him.. he is cute it's sad to see him troubled and crying 
P.S. I'm downloading Episode 13.. eventhough my brother has it all but I know he will cut the kiss scene.. so I wondered around some forums to know the episode No. and..
and he told me he has all Goong, too. but he still didn't watch it.. I'm downloading Episode 23 for the same reason as above

Eh? can you tell me in which episodes, please?
What I find important in the kissing scenes is that it gives alot about how far the characters connect to eachothers and how far the relationship is.. the charcteristic of each one and their behave.. all the stress and the suspense from the day they met.. damn! a single kissing scene means a LOT!! |

goong....there was one in ep 13, in ep 18 and two scenes in ep 23 which were the much talked about ones on the internet...the first was more passionate, where i really felt the yearning between the lead characters that it left me gasping for breath and asking for more, the second one which was done in the busy streets amidst flock of people ...it was an artistic shot , sweet and nostalgic...i got my money's worth if only for these kissing scenes...not to mention the hilarious scenes , you'll definitely enoy this one... | ||

I just finished watching 9 and 10.. very painfull to watch for the 3 of them
Though there were many sweet moments.. or better.. they were bittersweet
but I wonder.. did she really kiss him at the end of Episode 9??.. I didn't see anything but that what I think happend.. now that is hilarious if it's true.. and the pranks she played on Jeong Woo
She shouldn't have teached them how to lie.. now everyone is throwing lies left and right... and the 3 of them are all victims of it.

^^ agreed! HCY shouldn't have held back! Jae Hee is such a good kisser at 3-Iron (which only a few bunch of fans have seen). If he kissed HCY in SGCH like he kissed the actress in 3-Iron that kiss would have shot up at the top of my best kiss list....lol
I like the goong kiss in the middle of the crowd, I thought it was sweet and symbolic, I'm not so fond of the 26 second tongue kiss scene lol |

hmm... I have watched so many asianovelas (that's what we call it here in the phil...) I remember it started out with Meteor Garden 1... I was such a fanatic back then... I have this what they call F4 fever... hehe... I like how San Chai stood out for her rights... hehe... And of course, I love how Lei and Dao always fight for her... hehe... 
Then it branched out to Endless Love Autumn in my Heart... Winter Sonata... Love Letter... Stained Glass... Save the Last Dance for me... and almost every other k-series which were placed on the primetime slot... But among these k-series... Sassy Girl Chun Hyang had given me this long time illness.. the JAEHEEtitis... hehe... This was the second asianovela that I got hooked to... The second to Meteor Garden 1... I really don't know why I was so hooked with this drama... There is something in this drama that keeps me holding on to it... hehehe...
ALthough right now, I'm hooked to Gokusen 1 (and Shiwada and Ouichi...) and Wonderful life (and KJW and LJH...hehehe...) I still keep on holding to Sassy Girl Chun Hyang... The disease is still not cured... And it's still SPREADING... LOLz....

Sunday I watched 2 new dramas:k-drama "Bad Family" and tw drama "Tokyo Juliet"!!Bad Family is absolutely fun and the plot is really original,also quite cynical for a drama^^While Tokyo Juliet (starring Ariel Lin-It started with a Kiss-Love Contract)is a romantic story taken from a japanese manga!I recommend them both!!^^ | ||

Bad Family is finished,while Tokyo Juliet is still airing (this sunday there'll be the 3rd ep)I dl them from clubbox^__^ I love so much Bad Family,it's just too funny,hope they'll finish to sub the whole drama soon!! Yesterday I was wathing My Name is Kim Sam Soon... and... It is my secon favourite drama! I love it!
And I have another favourite actor - Hyun Bin... but he is on the second position (behind Jae Hee xP). I like Kim Sam Soon kissing scenes *-* (and I love that scene where Samsoon sent Samsik out in the middle of the night to buy "that thing" )

now that you have mentioned movies ...ok off topic...some of the kmovies ive watched that i liked very much are ... sympathy for lady vengeance...lee young ae rocks ! escape from charisma ...yoon eun hye stars in it...definitely one of the funniest movie ive seen... a moment to remember...song ye jin..will make your tear ducts work overtime... ok ok thats enough...guess i have to make another thread for this topic..hihi.... |

I've seen a Moment to Remember and I thought there's something wrong with the ending. I wished that SYJ's character dies in the end for some reason
Sympathy for Lady Vengeance lived up to its name and LYA deserved her acting nod ^_^ haven't seen Il Mare 
For me, Kim Sam Soon is okay. I like the idea of a strong woman in the story, but IMHO, the story dragged out somewhere in the middle wherein it seemed that Hyun Bin's character just wants to tie down Kim Sun Ah's character. It had some great points though like the kisses (man, they're a lot! and they're good!) hehehehe, the laughs and the quotable quotes from our lovely samsoon ^_^ |

I've seen "Sang Doo, Let’s Go To School" yesterday... This drama is with Bi...he shows another facet in his acting and I think I like it more than in Full House.
This is sad drama... but funny too! Though it is sad...I like it...
