Harry Potter-any fan?Ya guys,maybe I'll get smashed'cos I know there are many "antis" in the net,but..I like it very much!!The movies are quite well done,but the books are amazing:J K Rowling has a great fantasy and also knows very well celtic legend(I adore celtic culture)!!So,do u guys like the books?Have u read them?

"raises hands" i'm a huge HP fan. I've read all the books and watched them ovies. I even sent some letters to daniel radlciffe and in returned I received some signed pics.
I think the movies didn't do any justice to the books.

I saw them at a bookstore but they were in many versions, sizes, covers... so I was confused and didn't buy any.

ei...!!! i'm also a HP fan!!! *raises both hands and feet*hehe... ^-^ I'm in the middle of the fourth book. but did not finish it coz I just borrowed it...hehe... I'm planning to save money to buy the books... (I hope so..)
i agree with you... that they didn't do any justice to the books... although i also have this crush on Dan... I think he's not suitable for the role not because of his acting but because of his appearance... (although I started to read and be a fan of HP because of Dan...nyahaha.. ^-^) He's too handsome to be the HP that JK Rowling had been thinking of... hehe...
btw... A friend told me that there are also some authors who doesn't want "Hollywood" to produce their book into a movie since they don't do any justice... Sometimes, they also change some scenes... Like what they do to HP... ^-^

Im ust confess that I become a fan because of dnaiel radcliffe. my goodness I think he's 5-6 yeares younger than. later, I will post the signed pics I recieved. I think it was printed signed picture though.

It's because I was amazed by his talent at such a young age.. and it was nice watching him grow..
I downloaded bunch of his intreviews, too.. did you see the one with Jonathan Ross? that was a great one.

me me me tooooooo!!!! im a big fan!!! i liked the triwizard tournament part 4 the best!!! i followed the book from 1 to 6...and i cant wait for the conclusion....

I have read all the books but I find book 5 and 6 a bit boring. maybe because these books were written when book 1-3 were already made into the movies. jk rowling might be a bit pressured or something and the result for me was a bit boring.

YAYYY!!So happy there are so many HP fans here*__*
I must say I love the movies,but I think u have to consider them as an"entity"separated from the books..I personally believe that books can't be rendered in movies:they're too different media and what the book can express,the cinema can't and viceversa!Knowing this,I enjoyed the movie mainly because of good acting,good setting,action,etc!^^
The triwizard tournement,book 4 is my favourite!!How could she create in such great detail the tournment???She's simply wonderful!!
I agree with u Raymond about book 5,but I liked very much book 6 even if I got seriously shocked 'cos of the ending(I won't spoiler,dont worry^^ ,even if I must admit I started liking it from the 2nd time I read it!!
Who's your fav character?I adore Dumbledore!^^
