King and the Clown >.<Omo guys!!I absolutely have to share my happiness!!I downloaded King and the Clown (Wang ui Namja)*thanx god clubbox,eheh* and I so loved it!!Well,I'm not really objective'cos I'm really obsessed with Lee Jun Ki,but I must say that this movie really moved me,the characters are well portayed and I so love how it express the friendship,the love between them!!!And Junkisshi is so good in playing such a feminine,pure and innocent boy!!  I'm totally recommending it guys^^

Yup,I knew about his fanmeeting!!I also downloaded and watched many clips of it..he danced,sung and..it was amazing!!He's really affectionate towards his fans!!I really love him,he's my n°1 (2nd place obviously goes to Jae Hee ) I really wished I was there!!He can dance like Rain and also sings well!!And he's an amazing actor..if u're loving him in My Girl,wait to watch him in this movie!!Jae Hee and Jun Ki are so talented,I so envy them!!

I have already finished d/l CD1!! yay! that really surprised me.. because when I'm downloading Bright girls success.. the speed is 5Kb/s .. thats not bad but the bad thing is that it just download for 15 minutes and stop for 3 hours or more .. maybe it really depend on the clubbox.. great discovery! |

I'm intrigued and interested in the movie too, the korean version of Brokeback Mountain...and he plays a character totally different from his character in My Girl...now that's something different hehehe. I'm looking for a bittorrent link because clubbox is not kind to me lol hehehe.
I saw some clips of the fanmeeting and my oh my he can do wonders!!! he can sing and dance. He totally gained 1000+ points in my books lol I recently heard that he came to my country (Boracay island) a few weeks ago, I don't know if it's true but it's so sad that he came in discreetely...drats! Hi dear I'm so late!! sorry!!
I have been very busy.. you see.. had many relatives weddings, a brother engagement, mum hospitalized, sister visiting from where she live abroad, and I'm preparing for my vacation trip this saturday! lol, life is full. but most of all, See what you have done to me, I have watched The king and the clown 3 times, went through both the movie and Lee Jun-Ki threads at soompi! from post 1 to the latest! went through almost all his pictures at his cyworld.. ehem.. today I watched the directors cut of the movie. so, the 4th time lol. some days ago I watched Hotel Venus, I still need few hours to finish downloading Flying boys, I downloaded the fan meeting and watched it 3 times.. downloaded many clips from seirin CB.. I have his 3 songs + Fate (the movie MV song) on my playlist on repeat.. Do I need to say more?

Well, I'm still awake and I feel like talking more about this experience..
First, I'm new to Korean/Asian movies and drama.. and I don't know but a handfull of actors/actresses from the few series I have watched so far and I'm using a pattern to extend it.. 1- I look for the other works of the actors who impressed me (ex. DGCH --> Jae hee --> 3-Iron -->kim duk(?) films) 2- take suggestion from people who I feel have a simmiler taste to mine (ex. DGCH --> Jae Hee --> this forum --> Save the last dance for me, which I'm really enjoying & goong) 3- getting series adapted from manga I'm a fan of (Hana Yori Dango & Kimi Wa Petto) I knew Lee Jun-Ki from My Girl.. in My girl, I mentioned that my first reaction was "ewwww" but soon enough JW grew on me and not Jun-Ki.. while reading the soompi My Girl thread.. I spoted the King's Man posters and I sware I didn't recognize him at first.. but I liked the posters.. I felt some kind of "Aura" coming out from the characters.. and after I knew that pretty "girl" was actually Jun-Ki I was interested even more to know whats he going to do in this movie.. But I didn't decide to download it until you started this topic. The first half of the movie was a big distarction for me .. was hard for me to swallow.. because of all the sexual hints.. not the homo thing but the way they joked in their performances.. I'm not used to watch or hear such stuff. But the fact is that they aren't the ones doing these things but they are talking about it in a protest way helped me get through..though, until yesterday when I watched it for the 4th time that part was still hard.. guess these stuff aren't easy to get used to. The colorfull theme and customs really were pleasent to my eyes through out the movie I liked it I read many complaint about the lack of Camera tricks but for me I find this lack is a bonus to the movie because I actually forget that I'm behind some lenses watching a fictional story.. I felt as if I was there.. I didn't sence the camera, and visual effects.. really that was a big part of my enjoyment Add to this the fact that the acting was Berilliant from ALL/most of the cast!! Really amazing how they blend to the charecters! they deserve every award they got Lately! The king! I really get nervous watching his scenes because I didn't know when he is gonna explode! (in real life, I have this fear from people who will get really mad so fast  but the people around me (mum and sister actually) tell me that I'm one of these people some times they fear talking to me )
The king woman! such a great acting! Jang Saeng! words won't do him justice.. you feel his willpower! and when it shakes you can even touch it!
Gon gil! What an adorable character.. so pretty and his weakness make you want to protect him.. he is weak, but can't help but have the desire to help the others.. Talking about these characters individually doesn't say anything but getting them all together in the great story line is what makes the movie what it is! The first time I watched it was like getting a highlight of what went on.. the more I watch it I get many clues and see the story from different perspective.. reading the soompi thread helped me discover more and every time I watch it I understand the characters feeling more.. it's like everytime removing a layer.. the movie has deep deep meanings The success of the movie is well deserved and it's a result of all the hard working and thinking that was put on it.. from everyone.. it's really hard to spot a single thing that made it's success while it's clear that removing any of the factors will really affect it! After watching it for the first time.. I thought.. BBM of the East?.. I didn't sense any homosexuality between the main characters! Later after watching it for few times I get some hints and notes but the story is something more more than that. From here on there will be spoilers.. so, if someone didn't see the movie, read at your own risk Gon Gil was a weak character but he find his peace when he is with Jang Saeng.. He rarely talk with other people let alone refusing their requests.. hell not even refusing to dring when he knew he won't be able to take it.. but with Jang Saeng he talked frealy, joked, and even apposed! this take me to Fantacy Land! Gon Gil knows very well that Jang Saeng will never hurt him... The first puppet show Gon gil played to the king! wow! whoever saw the connectione between it and the similler scene at the beginning is really something! Whenever Gon Gil smiles.. it's like it lights everything around him and when he cry !!
the old man in the beginning that tried to touch Gon Gil really freacked me out I wanted to slap him! Whenever I read/watch the hard work they put in training I appreciate their work even more Especially when Jun-Ki talked that he spent months training not just to do the clowns tricks but to optain his body shape, nick, waist-line, femmine movement.. because at first I thought that was the real him.. not only me but most of the nation that he has to work even harder to break this femmine image I can talk and talk more about it but I guess I'm gonna get some sleep.. see you! |

Waaaaaaah, I really loved reading your words and I totally agree with you!!I couldn't help myself "falling in love" with this movie as the portray many different aspects oh human personality! Moreover, I like moviest set in ancient times! I read that in China was banned because of the homosexual hints..but they dispalyed in cinemas Brockback Mountain..can't understand that
Btw, this movie for me is the best also because I so love Junki!!^^ I know many think that he's feminine ad Gong Gil,even if in real life he's REALLY different, despite his physical aspect! He's gonna show his masculine side in his new movie, "Fly, daddy"..I'm waiting for it impatiently^^ Here's an image from the filming

Aaah! I miss Jae hee and Junki.. I was in Iran for 17 days.. I was cut from the world.. I didn't take my mobile with me and I didn't go to any internet caffee!! good to be back!
Happy you got the DVDs.. I want to buy them too!!! but the truth is.. I can't! it's.. in my country.. what can I say.. you can't have them mailed to you and you can't enter the country with them if you buy them abroad.. I can only download them or buy the illegal copied ones
