hi ilaria...has korean wave invaded italy yet? heard k series are getting popular in america....
Unfortunately not..here people hardly now where Korea is -__-..we're beginning to have some very famous chinese-korean-japanese movies at cinemas and they're having a positive reaction!For example "Hero" and "The House of Flying daggers"by Zhang Yimou;movies by Kim Ki Duk,Park Chan Wook and Kim Jee Woon and for Japan mainly Takeshi Kitano!Last month I went to Florence 'cos there was a Korean movies festival^^I got to know Kim Jee Woon,I was so happy!!I really loved his movie,"A bitter sweet life"have u guys watched it?
yup ive seen a bittersweet life...lee byun hyun is also a fave of mine....not so much with the story but the acting of this guy is simply amazing...actually i can see some parallelism between this film and art of fighting...both themes about fighting back and redeeming oneself....
I also like Byun Hyun since this movie..a pity he didn't come too to Italy!! I loved the movie and u're right about a certain resemblance in the content with AOF!Vengeance is a really interesting theme..it's smt many condemn but I think that it's a thing that soon or late we all experience..even if as a mere feeling!A very human feeling!!
