"cries" I've been looking forward to watch "the da vinci code" I went to the mall at around 1 PM but I was not permitted because the girl told me that I don't look like an 18 year old boy. I told her that I 'm already 22 years old but I couldn't show her any proof. I don't even have a driver's liscene. I don't know if I will be happy because she thought I was underage or not.
Erm..think positive:u'll surely be like Aaron Kwok when u'll be 41^^
But didn't u have ur ID with u to show her? Moreover,u have to be over 18 years old to watch it?
^^ oh boy something really needs to be done by the ones in charge with the movie theatres. My friends who are below 18 are getting through R-18 movies lol
then maybe raymond you have to bring your birth certificate...certified copy from the nso... and a driver's license to back it up...nyahahaha....just like what pola have posted previously in another forum...age is just a number...it shouldnt be a gauge in measuring one's capacity to comprehend movies such as da vinci code...there are people who are way older than 18 and yet they have the mentality and the attitude of an 8 year old.
That girl in the mall could have let u pass!Next time u'll be more lucky!!Also here in Italy they frequently let minors watch 18 + mvoies, eheh! But in Italy we have an ID card released by the Republic,we can use it also in other states of the united europe..it's like a kind of passport, but only for these states^^
And I totally agree with u lualm..age is only a number..I can understand when they forbid minors to watch certain really violent movies or-of course-erotic movies..but the da vinci code..well,what is important is the mentality of the person
Wow Plum, that's a really unfortunate...anyway, you can still feel good after that experience. It only means that you really look younger than your age. For some women, it's really a compliment when that happens...heheheheh But I think what happened to you is quite frustrating...after all the effort of going there then nothing...heheheh well things just happen.
I've experience almost the same incident when I try to get an entrance exam in a university to get a masteral degree. They almost did't gave me the approval...they though i was a freshman inquiring for a college course. Good thing I had my papers and ID. heheheh
It does not require you to have a 2 years work experience to get a Masterals Degree. Well, they encourage students to enroll to graduate studies after graduating. It doesn't matter if you're not working while getting an MA but you may need to work to support your tuition (just kidding:) )
